Learning that goes beyond the classroom
Narayana Schools' middle and secondary programme for Classes 6 to 10, Ages 11 to 16

In the transition from childhood to adolescence lies a phase full of promise, complexity and opportunity. For students aged 11 to 16, in Classes 6 to 10, this is when dreams evolve into concrete goals, and the competitive world demands not just knowledge but resilience, creativity and adaptability. Research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences has shown that middle school interventions improving students' outlook on challenges lead to higher attendance, fewer failing grades and stronger perseverance, while studies in Frontiers in Psychology have found that career readiness programmes in middle school significantly enhance decision-making and adaptability.

The eTechno Programme is Narayana Schools' age-appropriate middle and secondary curriculum for Classes 6 to 10, designed to help students not only dream, but also build the skills to realise those dreams and thrive in real-world, competitive environments. It blends academic excellence with holistic growth, fostering critical thinking, creativity and resilience, so students are prepared for competitive exams as well as for life beyond the classroom.

Study materials are carefully designed using the best elements of CBSE, ICSE, IGCSE and IB, ensuring strong conceptual clarity and a well-rounded learning approach.

This transforms every test into a learning roadmap by generating detailed, question-wise and subject-wise error lists. These reports enable quick reflection, targeted remediation and customised microschedules that prevent repeated mistakes, driving students towards a genuine zero-error mindset.

Learning gaps are identified early through diagnostic assessments and regular micro-tests, then addressed through personalised mentoring and targeted lesson plans, so every child gets the support they need to excel.

Tech-enabled learning at eTechno combines smart classroom tools with AI-driven tutoring to make lessons richer and more accessible. The nLearn platform includes ASTRA (Advanced Student Tutoring and Resource Assistant), an AI assistant offering instant doubt resolution and personalised practice, alongside interactive modules, eBooks and exam simulations designed around templates that mirror Board examinations and the Joint Entrance Examination, evaluating conceptual clarity, critical thinking, problem-solving and competitive edge.
From Classes 6 to 10, smartboards play a central role in making lessons interactive, allowing abstract concepts to be visualised with clarity through e-books, multimedia lessons, simulations and real-time problem-solving exercises. By blending visual, auditory and kinaesthetic learning methods, smartboards ensure better comprehension, focus and retention.
